She was born in Ratuwa Bensi, a barren village in the far east of Ilam, Nepal. Her whole childhood was spent in shepherding and farming. According to Mang's predetermined plan, she got married to Kirat religious Guru Atmananda Lingden "Seing" On February 5, 1976 (Thursday) in Chukchinamba Manghim (Kirati Temple). After the spiritual marriage ceremony at Chukchinamba Manghim, Mang's responsibility was added to her, and she became a Guruama Pabitra Hangma Saba Lingden.
